Bath Rugby teams up with Humanforce

Bath Rugby Club has teamed up with Humanforce to manage day-to-day staffing requirements across the club.

Supporting both a home and away fan base, Bath Rugby hosts over 20 home games a season, requiring over 200 staff a game in order to effectively manage the multiple restaurants and bars, in addition to  conferences and events that run throughout the year.

The club recognised the need to move away from manual staffing processes and after reviewing multiple systems, selected Humanforce to help manage its workforce requirements.

Alex Cohen, operations director at Bath Rugby said:

We had been running manual systems for years and implemented Humanforce to better manage our flexible workforce and requirements. When hosting a rugby match to a conference, the operational and staffing requirements are very different and we needed a system that was flexible enough to meet the needs of our multi-purpose venue.

The next step is to utilise Humanforce’s standard functionality for our staff to update their availability, view their shifts, bid for vacant shifts all through the online portal, which we are sure will save us uncountable hours in admin tasks, while ensuring that we always have qualified, certified staff that are available and ready to work.

We found the introduction of event day wrist bands and biometric vein scanning has provided us with a more secured venue, while saving the club admin resources and increasing the usage of our staff pool, so we can really recommend Humanforce for other clubs just like us.

Bath Rugby, which was founded in 1865, has gone onto win multiple cups over the years and is currently sitting fourth in the Premiership table midway through the season.
