Chelsea Football Club has launched a ‘Hospitality Smartphone App’ for both annual hospitality members and match-by-match bookers to provide them with information about their day at the touch of a button. Simon Hunter, Head of Venue & Brand at Chelsea Football Club said:
Chelsea FC is the first football club to develop a Hospitality App that engages with fans in this way and we’re immensely proud of that as well as the positive response from supporters since its December 2013 launch. Not only does the App communicate up-to-the-minute matchday news and events as they happen, but provides them with an easy-to-use platform to interact with their club directly, allowing us to engage, reward and continue to provide the very best service to our customers.
Developed as a result of extensive research and focus groups, the Hospitality Smartphone App has been designed to give users a range of information as well as interactive services and rewards.
In the first launch phase, users of the App have access to instant live match coverage, including a dynamic team sheet with stats on Chelsea’s players, live commentary as well as an assistance page giving guests instant communication with their account manager, links to live travel updates and a feedback page allowing them to comment on their day.
Those who register for the App also have access to exclusive offers at Stamford Bridge, including discounts at the recently re-launched on-site restaurants Marco Grill and Frankie’s Sports Bar & Diner, as well as news and offers from Antara Spa at the Chelsea Health Club and Spa, providing even greater value and reward to fans of the club.
