Global food & beverage experts for the new Allianz Parque in São Paulo

The German-Brazilian Gourmet Sports Hospitality venture is announced as the Food & Beverages partner at the new Allianz Parque in São Paulo.

Gourmet Sport Hospitality will be responsible for all levels of catering from public catering to gastronomic concepts in the business and VIP areas. The Allianz Parque will be the third stadium in Gourmet Sport Hospitality’s portfolio of major South American events.

Behind Gourmet Sports Hospitality is a team of skilled hospitality experts from the German-based K&K Group AG. With an international presence, they have more than two decades of comprehensive experience in major sports, cultural, entertainment and corporate events. Their references include global sporting events such as catering for the World Cup since 2006, Formula 1, last year’s Confederations Cup, the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and up next, the FIFA World Cup this summer in Brazil.

“We’ve have come a long way since we opened our office in Rio in 2011. It’s a very interesting market with a lot of potential and we’re happy to be part of this rapid development. Our focus is always on quality whether it’s making hotdogs at the concession stands in the public areas or developing gastronomic concepts together with star chefs for the VIP lounges. Gourmet Sports Hospitality has a strong partner by its side with the global sports and entertainment operator, AEG. The new home of the Palmeiras football team will meet FIFA standards with a capacity of up to 45,000 fans and entertainment facilities for up to 60,000 guests. The arena will also include an amphitheatre, convention centre, media centre, museum, several retail stores, and restaurants.
