Incredible speaker line-up announced for Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific 2016

The ‘best ever’ Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific Preliminary Conference Program has been unveiled this week, with a stunning array of industry-elite speakers to share their invaluable insights during the 2.5 day event.

Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific 2016 – taking place at the Yokohama Arena in the City of Yokohama*, Japan, from 26-28 September 2016 – is the worldwide event for those involved in sports venue design/build, management, operation and technology/service provision.

More than 50 industry experts are confirmed to speak at this year’s event, including key figures from Japan’s sporting landscape, such as:

Toshiro Muto, CEO, Tokyo 2020
Masaaki Okawa, Chairman, Japan Professional Basketball League

Daichi Suzuki, The First Commissioner from the Japan Sports Agency is also scheduled to speak at this must-attend event. Much like the Sporting Nation Research Committee, the Japan Sports Agency was created last year by the Government to act as the key central sports administration body.

Numerous projects and major sports venue developments from around the region, and indeed the globe, will be showcased during the event, including:

  • The new Perth Stadium
  • The new National Stadium of Cambodia
  • The Kai Tak Sports Park

A significant number of key project stakeholders will also be represented from countries such as China, South Korea and Australia, as well as North America, the Middle East and Africa, to name but a few.

We look forward to welcoming you to Yokohama this September for what promises to be the ‘best ever’ Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific event.
