Keith Prowse marks launch of hospitality offerings at The Investec Derby Festival

Keith Prowse marked the start of the 2015 ‘Season’ with the launch of its new hospitality offerings for The Investec Derby Festival at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

In partnership with Epsom Downs Racecourse, Keith Prowse – one of the UK’s leading hospitality supplier – has redesigned the hospitality offering at ‘The Greatest Flat Race in the World’ culminating in a modern take on entertaining for what is a pinnacle social event of the year.

The racecourse drew on more than 230 years of entertaining experience at this popular Festival and worked with Keith Prowse to create a new design led space for private and business entertaining; The Winning Post.

A new concept for 2015, The Winning Post marries traditions of The Investec Derby Festival with on trend interior design and menus that reflect today’s less formal dining habits. In addition to the draw of the races on The Investec Ladies’ Day and Derby Day, The Winning Post brings mixologists and informal seating areas to create the ambience of an upscale private members club. As the pace of the world-class horse racing draws to a close, the tempo of the music provided by London’s top DJ’s increases as The Winning Post takes centre stage for the official hospitality after party.

Innovative cuisine is order of the day with highlights including ‘Caledonian Bleu Prawn, Sea Bream Tartare, Herring Caviar, Avocado Purée’ and ‘Salt Plate Beef Satay’. The afternoon tea has also been re-designed and is served in individual hampers.

In addition to Keith Prowse’s modern take on hospitality in The Winning Post, the renowned Tattenham Straight Marquee offers a unique position adjacent to the main grandstand, on a pivotal point as the runners approach the final furlong of the race.
