Lifeguard Arena to debut for Silver Knights

The Henderson Silver Knights and the City of Henderson in Nevada, USA will officially open the Lifeguard Arena in Henderson on November 10.

The brand-new venue will serve as the practice home of the Henderson Silver Knights and a community centre for Henderson residents.

Lifeguard Arena features two sheets of ice, retail space, meeting space, and team space for the Henderson Silver Knights. A full service restaurant and a coffee shop will open at later dates.

The 120,000ft2 facility has cost around $26 million to build.

Each of the two rinks has five rows of concrete stands for fans to sit, with a capacity of 360 people.

The Henderson Silver Knights are the American Hockey League affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights and are operated by Black Knight Sports and Entertainment LLC.
