Major Events International prepares for summit

Major Events International (MEI) will be hosting their 2nd Annual Summit from October 12-13 at the London Aquatics Centre on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

There are limited spaces left for the event and time is running out to register to meet with major events experts at the summit.

Global experts from past, present and future local organising committees, host cities, sports federations, clubs and suppliers who have worked on recent major events such as the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games will be participating.

There will be opportunities to learn from more niche suppliers about innovation or get tips about entering the supply chain from prime contractors.

MEI is encouraging visitors to take advantage of the innovative format. It said:

We are encouraging you to get involved at our sector workshops on Safety & Security, Technology & Fan Engagement & Temporary Overlay & Event Services over two days in front of an audience composed of the aforementioned experts. All delegates will have the chance to share their insights with industry stakeholders in an intimate environment.

Awards supplied by MEI Member Touch of Ginger, who have produced the Rugby World Cup medals, will be presented to members of the major events community for their contributions to the sector.
