Major Events International (MEI) have announced that the second edition of their Major Events International Summit will take place at the iconic London Aquatics Centre in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on October 12 and 13.
The London Aquatics Centre, designed by pioneering architect Zaha Hadid, who sadly passed away last month, is one of the most technologically advanced and stunning swimming facilities in the world, and an enduring 2012 London legacy facility. It will provide the perfect setting for the Summit, which focuses on the Business of Sport and best practice when delivering and hosting iconic sports events.
Their event will follow on nicely from our own Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific that takes place in Japan this September, which will bring together the movers and shakers from the world of sports venue design/build, management, operation, fit-out and technology ahead of the country’s hosting of the Rugby World Cup 2019 and Summer Olympics 2020. Major Events International will be taking a trade delegation of companies to visit the conference with opportunities to attend, exhibit, speak and sponsor options, all at preferential rates.
The Summit will uniquely bring together industry-leading Major Events suppliers, as well as Organising Committees, governing bodies and venue operators for two-days of workshops and panels in this non-conference format.
In order to retain the high-level networking and relationship building approach, attendance is limited to 160 places for MEI Members, clients and VIP invitees. For non-members of the MEI network, an invitation to request attendance can be submitted and best endeavours will be used for a timely reply about available space.
For more information and to request your invitation contact: email@example.com or Tel: +44 (0)20 7073 2661.
