Nitro Circus Live is bringing its brand new spectacular to an extended European tour this autumn, including multipurpose stadiums such as the Gelredome and Lille’s Stade Pierre Mauroy (10 December 2013).
Nitro Circus founder, ringleader and world-class athlete Travis Pastrana and his crew of 40 of the world’s best action sports athletes perform freestyle motocross, BMX and skate stunts. Speaking about the Lille show, Managing Director of Nitro Circus Live, Michael Porra, said:
We are excited to be bringing Nitro Circus Live’s over-the-top stunts to a whole new set of fans in France. This show is like nothing fans have ever experienced before and I know they’ll be blown away by the non-stop action and crazy antics that make up the show.
In late 2012, Nitro Circus Live embarked on its first ever European tour, performing 13 shows in seven countries and selling over 155,000 tickets. The tour included Nitro Circus Live’s biggest ever show, performed in front of 28,000 people in Arnhem, Holland. In its short history to date, Nitro Circus Live has sold over 750,000 tickets, bringing in almost US$70 million.
One of the craziest stunts in the new show includes the extraordinary ‘hole-in-one’ where riders launch 50 feet into the air off the Gigant-A-Ramp and attempt to land with pinpoint accuracy inside an inflatable Zorb ball.
This year’s 20-stop European tour will encompass shows at Olympiski Arena, Moscow; Tele2 Arena, Stockholm; Malmo Arena, Malmo; Telenor, Oslo; O2 World, Hamburg; Manchester Arena, Manchester; NIA, Birmingham; Earls Court, London; The Hydro, Glasgow; Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam; Sportpaleis, Antwerp; Geldredome, Arnhem; Lanxess Arena, Cologne; Stade Pierre Mauroy, Lille; O2 World, Berlin; Stadion Narodowy, Warsaw.
