The European Stadium & Safety Management Association (ESSMA) is anticipating a bumper turnout for the third ESSMA Summit to be held at Parc Olympique Lyonnais (France), from 16 to 18 January 2017.
The must-attend stadium industry event is organized by ESSMA in partnership with the European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL), the European Club Association (ECA) and the International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS).
On day one, a Stadium Development Seminar will be organised with the goal of sharing the latest information on stadium & renovation projects in Europe.
Keynote speakers will talk on stadium industry topics, while in-depth workshops on trending stadium issues are combined with extensive stadium tours that aim to bring insight to all participants.
The seminar will be open to a limited number of people in order to stimulate interaction between stadium professionals.
More than 25 stadium professionals will be involved as speakers for this edition of the ESSMA Summit.
Last year, over 300 participants from 29 different countries attended the event.
Neil Theuma – Head of Venue Facilities at RFU-Twickenham – said:
I thoroughly enjoyed the yearly ESSMA Summit: this annual event is the most relevant and useful industry event and it is now an annual commitment from me to make sure I attend.
ESSMA focuses on four areas of expertise: Stadium Management; Safety Management; Pitch & Facility Management; Fan Entertainment.
ESSMA has over 300 European stadium members and 18 league/federation members.
