PanStadia & Arena Management Magazine is the undisputed world leader for the business of stadia, arenas, sporting events and venues on a global scale.

Paul Thornhill leaves PS&AM

After almost nine years with the group, Paul Thornhill – global sales manager here at Panstadia & Arena Management leaves the company today.

The likeable and unforgettable Canadian joined Alad Ltd way back in autumn 2008 when the publication was called Stadium & Arena Management.

Since then, Paul has become an integral part of the team which he cemented as we integrated with Panstadia magazine back in the winter of 2012/13.

During this period he has gone on to contribute immensely to the development and improvement of the refined magazine and also worked on the Stadia & Arena series of events as they relocated from Europe to Asia in 2014.

Neil Levett, publisher of Panstadia & Arena Management and event director for the Stadia & Arena series of events said:

I personally would like to thank Paul for his continual representation of the company at many local, regional and global events. He always projected a professional standard that many find hard to achieve – let alone maintain.

He is known globally and it has often been said of him that “once met, never forgotten!” I am very sorry to lose him and I wish him every success for the future.

Obviously as one door closes another one opens and so we look to Paul’s replacement and welcome Andrew Dodds to the team.

Andrew has a very strong pedigree of media representation roles and so comes with great experience to assist our clients with their marketing objectives.

He has a keen interest in sport and music and so has a huge interest in the subject matter.

Andrew said:

This is a great opportunity on a magazine that I have been really intrigued by since it joined the Hemming stable last winter. I can’t wait to get started and hope that my previous experience will allow me to build on the great foundations that Paul has laid.

I would like to thank Paul for his patience with me personally. This is a massive industry and I am so grateful to Paul for his concern for me to understand the industry so I may continue to serve his clients in the manner they have become accustomed.

The Venue Management portfolio continues to be overseen by Neil Levett who has worked with the title since its launch in 1997. Neil supports the Portfolio Lead – Sam Wibrew – himself an industry veteran of more than 15 years.
