Pittodrie Ladies Day sells out in record time

Eager female football fans in Aberdeen will help turn a routine league match into one of Scotland’s most glamorous fixtures, after snapping up Ladies Day tickets in record time.

The £99 tickets for the event – where guests will be treated to a day of champagne and luxury dining at Pittodrie stadium – sold out within 60 minutes of going on sale.

David McDonald, General Manager with Sodexo Prestige, the football club’s catering and hospitality partner, said:

Many people like to occasionally treat themselves with a wee bit of luxury, which is exactly what this event does. The Ladies Day gives women in Aberdeen the chance to come down to the stadium and have a change from the normal match day experience visitors might expect.

Lisa Sheran, Communications Officer at Aberdeen Football Club, said:

Guests are looking forward to winning exclusive prizes generously donated by our Ladies Day partners, as well as the opportunity to mingle with some of the Aberdeen first team players.
