GlobalSportsJobs, the leading specialist digital talent platform for the international sports industry, has a new home on Twitter.

The company’s former Twitter handle @GSportsJobs has been replaced by the new handle @GoGlobal, which the company believes better reflects the international status of the business.

Jon Davies, the new Global Head of Marketing at GlobalSportsJobs explains:

The company has grown exponentially since the handle @GSportsJobs was launched back in 2010. It now operates across four language platforms (GlobalSportsJobs.com/.de/.fr and .cn) and delivers more than 400 new job opportunities each month to its global audience of over 180,000 professionals across 161 countries.

While our Twitter feed has a new look and feel, it continues to offer the latest insights, interviews and career tips for those currently working in or looking to break into the sports industry, as well as alerts whenever new jobs with our internationally-renowned clients are listed on GlobalSportsJobs.com.

If you already follow the company on Twitter, there is no need to do anything, as you will automatically be transferred over to the new handle @GoGlobal.

England and Wales Cricket Board develops employer brand

Comments Off on England and Wales Cricket Board develops employer brand

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has renewed its annual GlobalSportsJobs license. The ECB, established in 1997, is the national governing body responsible for the management and development of all cricket in England and Wales. Lesley Cook, Human Resources Manager at the ECB said:

ECB has used the GlobalSportsJobs digital media platform since 2011 and we are delighted with its capability and service. It not only delivers our employment brand to a targeted audience, but it also provides us with a diverse range of good quality candidates, in a cost effective manner that is ideal for our continued professional development.

GlobalSportsJobs founder and CEO Will Lloyd said:

We are very pleased to be able to extend our excellent working relationship with the ECB. It is a pleasure to work with an organisation that values its people as an asset rather than a commodity and the value that we are able to deliver to the ECB demonstrates the significant influence that digital is having on the changing talent landscape.

A quarter of the ECB’s total workforce was sourced through GlobalSportsJobs last year – it’s a significant accomplishment. This degree of success is exactly what continues to attract sport organisations to our network.
