Temporary build-up for World Squash Championships

The week-long PSA Men’s World Squash Championship, which takes place in Manchester in October, is developing temporary spectator capacity over two venues, the National Squash Centre, which will host preliminary rounds, and the Manchester Central convention complex, where the final stages will be held.

England Squash and Racketball in conjunction with Manchester City Council are the organisers. They have awarded Slick Seating the contract for temporary seating following a competitive tender. Slick will supply a number of temporary grandstands from its C View range, providing 500 and 1,100 seats to both venues respectively.

Scott Hayward, Managing Director of Slick Seating, said:

Squash is a fast-paced, incident-filled sport, so the spectators’ ability to see everything that takes place is crucial to their viewing experience.

Our C View temporary tiered seating system was developed in accordance with the stringent C value requirements of London 2012, which will ensure that everybody will have the best possible opportunity to enjoy uninterrupted views.
