The Texas Rangers baseball team has extended its naming rights partnership with Globe Life, meaning its new stadium in Arlington will be called the Globe Life Field.
It extends the partnership which has seen the Rangers’ present ground called the Globe Life Park since 2014.
The billion dollar climate-controlled stadium deal keeps the Texas Rangers in Arlington till at least 2054, and the naming rights will continue until at least 2048.
It’s understood half of the money for the new stadium has come from the city, the other half from the Rangers.
The stadium should be completed in time for the 2020 Major League Baseball season.
