The most eagerly anticipated day of the entire UK BBL season, Play Off Final day is back at Wembley Arena this year on 28 April.
It’s hugely encouraging that our decision to return to the Wembley for the season finale will be endorsed by a potential sell out,
said BBL Chairman Paul Blake
Hosting a fantastic third major showpiece Final is a real must for us, since we want to head into the summer on a high – especially as the BBL has been handed the responsibility of arranging and hosting Great Britain preparation games ahead of the two EuroBasket tournaments.
I think Wembley evokes strong emotions and memories for many longstanding BBL fans who have spent time crying with joy and in agony at missing out in the past at this venue
In addition to the main game itself, there will be the UK Slam Dunk Contest Trophy as the top slam dunkers from all over the country battle it out to be crowned UK Dunk Champion. There will also be the Lords of Gravity Acrobatic Dunk Team, Foxy the dunking mascot and the BBL Babes Cheerleaders.
