Countdown to Stadia & Arena Japan 2019

There’s just over a week to go now until the start of the Sports Business Japan/Stadia & Arena Japan 2019 conference and exhibition.

The next edition of the hugely successful event will take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo from 19-20 November 2019, with a site tour on Monday, November 18.

High-level keynote speakers have committed to take part in the event. These include Mr. Saburo Kawabuchi, chairman of Japan Top League Alliance (Founder of J-League); Mr. Daichi Suzuki, president of Sports Agency Japan (a part of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology); Mr. Motoi Oyama, chairman of Japan Society of Sports Industry.

Conference sessions at the event will cover topics including: Stadia and Arena Innovation; Strengthening the Management Capabilities of Content Holders; Strengthening the competitiveness of the Sports Industry. Around 60 exhibitors are expected to host stands at the show.

The venue for the 2019 event – Saitama Super Arena – is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Chūō-ku, Saitama City, Saitama, Japan.

The arena features a gigantic moveable section of seating which can reduce capacity for smaller events and create a more intimate setting.

Its spectator capacity is 37,000 at maximum settings, making it the third largest indoor arena in the world.
