Eric McGuire joins ASI Europe

Advanced Sports Installations Europe (ASI) has made a major industry appointment with Eric McGuire joining the team.

With a proven track record in the artificial turf industry over the last 16 years, including working in several top FIFA Preferred Partner suppliers, Eric McGuire has gained a vast resource of knowledge that makes his transition to ASI an exciting industry development.

McGuire has extensive experience in both artificial and hybrid manufacturing such as turf extrusion, tufting, field design, construction and implementation.  He  has worked on many sports stadium projects worldwide  with  notable achievements included the introduction, implementation and construction of hybrid systems into both the Euro 2012 and Rugby World Cup 2012 events.

He is a regular speaker at major industry events worldwide, sharing his thoughts and opinions in an increasingly evolving and challenging market. Mcguire said:

As I have seen up close, the turf industry continues to push to develop the next great product to supply the market with the very best technological advancements in yarns, backing, coatings and systems that meet Federations approval along with the players’ and investors’ needs.

However, the ecological footprint left behind with fields that need to be replaced has gone largely unnoticed by its drive to develop and manufacture.

With the innovative and in-house knowledge that ASI have, they bring a comprehensive and complete solution, tailored made to each customer’s needs.  These customers are always confronted with the question that everyone has who owns, maintains or develops sport facilities using artificial turf.  “What do I do with my used field?” or “What can I reuse from that investment?”

McGuire has been working with ASI as one of their trusted suppliers for years and has successfully used their technology to remove pitches in different locations. He added:

What struck me most about the organisation was the continuous drive to innovate and invest in better technology, services and the solutions they provide. They approach the market with the most advanced field removal and recycling options for field owners that can be found in the industry.  They do all this while functioning as a professional and very reliable team both onsite and with their post project client visits. This is what inspired me to come to work for ASI.
