FA gives fans chance to ‘play’ at Wembley

The FA has called on fans to continue to stay and play at home during the coronavirus pandemic, for the chance to see their skills played out at the home of football, Wembley Stadium connected by EE.

As part of its Football’s Staying Home campaign, The FA is asking supporters to share videos of themselves and their loved ones honing their skills from home via social media, by including the hashtag #FootballsStayingHome.

Fans who upload their videos may have the opportunity to see their skills played out on the biggest stage of all, with the giant screens at Wembley Stadium primed to stream a selection of entries to millions worldwide via FA and England teams social media channels.

The FA’s Football’s Staying Home initiative launched last month across England’s digital channels to produce content to promote physical and mental wellbeing and offer hope, entertainment and togetherness at this difficult time.

For more information on the campaign, and to find out when fans will get the chance to see if their entry has been selected to appear at Wembley, follow @England and @Lionesses on social media and visit the dedicated homepage: http://www.thefa.com/get-involved/footballs-staying-home.
