To meet the industry demand, AMI has decided to host the 15th edition of the Grass Yarn & Tufters Forum online from 25-27 May.
The event is recognised as the foremost platform to gain insight into developments in synthetic turf from around the world.
The Grass Yarn & Tufters Virtual Summit provides a unique opportunity to learn about the key issues in the industry and how they are being addressed such as: structural changes in the market, application and product developments, growth prospects and environmental concerns.
The agenda over 3 days will include the following sessions:
Views from the market: Includes AMI’s presentation on ‘The changing market for Artificial Turf’, followed by presentations from the Football Association of Norway, the International Hockey Federation and the World Minifootball Federation. They will address their experiences with artificial grass and their needs.
This session also has presentations from Liberty Tire Recycling, Forever Lawn from the United States, Evergreens UK talking about the artificial grass in landscaping.
Durability and Sustainability: Features presentations from the ESTC, GBN Artificial Grass Recycling, Tencate and Re-Match talking on ‘A vision for a sustainable future for synthetic turf’.
Examining player-surface interactions: CC Grass will address ‘Why do footballers dislike synthetic turf and what can we do about it?’ This is then followed by research findings by Labosport and Sports Labs.
Durability and Sustainability: Market leader Dow presents on ‘Polyethylene developments for sustainable artificial turf’ followed by Radici Pietro Industries, Don & Low and Versalis.
