David Luken has been appointed as the new CEO of SKIDATA, succeeding Hugo Rohner who is returning to Switzerland.
After seven years at the helm of the SKIDATA executive board, Rohner has decided to return to his home country for personal reasons.
Under Rohner’s leadership, SKIDATA further expanded its global position as the world market leader in access and visitor management, doubling revenues since 2012. He said:

Luken will take up the role at the end of June. The US-American brings decades of US and international experience to the company and will continue to drive the path of global expansion in the core segments Parking, Mountain and Stadia.
With his knowledge as technology leader, he will further strengthen the company’s innovation and digitalisation strategies
He has demonstrated a strong ability to deliver customer-centric technology at Honeywell, where he held several positions before being appointed vice president of their global Airlines Business Segment. Following his time at Honeywell, he joined Zero Mass Water, a technology company advancing global water quality and resilience. Luken said:
