Stadia & Arena Japan 2019 launches

The next edition of our hugely successful Sports Business Japan/Stadia & Arena conference and exhibition will take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan next November.

The event will run from 19-20 November 2019, with a site tour on Monday, November 18.

It follows on from this year’s exciting conference and exhibition in Osaka which attracted more than 4,000 visitors over two days.

Key speakers from the Rugby World Cup 2019 Organising Committee, the Japan Sports Agency and Japan’s J-League and professional basketball leagues all shared their expertise.

The venue for the 2019 event – Saitama Super Arena – is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Chūō-ku, Saitama City, Saitama, Japan.

The arena features a gigantic moveable section of seating which can reduce capacity for smaller events and create a more intimate setting.

Its spectator capacity is 37,000 at maximum settings, making it the third largest indoor arena in the world.

The main arena capacity is between 19,000 and 22,500 when events such as basketball, volleyball, tennis, ice hockey, gymnastics, boxing, mixed martial arts, and professional wrestling take place there.

It is also the only Japanese arena equipped especially for American football.

Japan will host the Rugby World Cup in 2019 and the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020.

Further information, including the floorplan will be announced shortly and if you are interested in receiving further information about exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities please contact Sam Wibrew –
