The Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX) is set to host an industry-veteran-packed virtual summit themed “Prepping for the Return of Fans!”
This summit, to be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021, is being produced and offered as a complimentary service to anyone in the industry who can benefit as part of IIFX’s mission to “build and support a global alliance of thought leaders and stakeholders centred around safety, security and the services that contribute to the ideal fan experience.”
Kicking off the event will be the esteemed Lee Zeidman, President of the Los Angeles Staples Center Arena, whose talk will focus on around “Strategies to Get Fans Back.”
As President of Staples Center, Microsoft Theater and L.A. LIVE, the sports, residential and entertainment district, Mr. Zeidman oversees all of the venue’s event operations and production. He also supervises Staples Center’s overall day-to-day support for its tenants, sponsors, clients and partners including the reigning NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Kings and the Los Angeles Sparks.
The one-day event will provide sports and entertainment industry professionals with a deep dive into the latest innovative ideas being used by industry leaders to safely return to work, play and spectate at live sports and entertainment events.
Dr. Lou Marciani, director and co-founder of IIFX and former director of the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4), said:
For this summit, we’ve put together a thought-provoking agenda of global thought leaders, decision-makers, and innovators.
According to Dr. Marciani, Mr. Zeidman will address the most pressing industry challenges and critical issues for reopening sports and entertainment venues and events, including first-hand observations and recommendations.
The event is open and complimentary to anyone who can benefit from the knowledge that will be shared. All summit topics underscore the common challenges the sports and entertainment industry faces as organizations adapt and innovate to a new fan experience paradigm.
