The Municipality of Heraklion and the Heraklion Sport Facility Management, has announced a PanHellenic Architectural Contest of Ideas for the development and renovation of an area of about 47,000sqm near the PanCretan Stadium in Heraklion, Crete, Hellas.


The Contest is an open call, with its main scope being to source new ideas, which are to be proposed to the Municipality of Heraklion, for the expansion of the Multisport Complex of Pancretan Stadium, with new sporting and cultural facilities, open-air parks, and all linked to the city’s main seashore.


Foreign architects are welcome to participate in the Contest in collaboration with Greek colleagues and the Contest provides awards ranging from €4,000 – €9,000.
