The developers of The Quadrant in Boston, Lincolnshire, are holding public exhibitions on 23 November and 4 December to get feedback on the plans, including a new community stadium for Boston United. Local property developer and owner of Boston United Football Club, Chestnut Homes, is behind the Q1 project, which it describes as a sustainable, mixed-use scheme to the south west of Boston, south of Tytton Lane East and west of the A16.

Q1 will include around 500 new homes, including affordable housing; a new community stadium as a home for Boston United Football Club; new shops and restaurants; and the first section of a new distributor road that may ultimately link through to the A52. It will create around 450 local jobs

Boston Chairman David Newton said:

As announced at our recent fans forum, we are thrilled to share our plans for a new community stadium, as a new home for Boston United Football Club and its community programmes delivered by United in the Community.

Plans for the community stadium (WMA Architects and Planners) include an all-weather 3G pitch for community use, plus educational facilities, conference and banqueting facilities; a café; education and community facilities; meeting rooms for hire; and possibly a sports hall.

It will have a capacity of 4,000 plus, suitable for the Conference Premier Division, and will be easily adaptable to Football League standards.
