More than 40% of sports fans worldwide abandoned concession lines in the past 12 months – without making a purchase – because of excessive waiting, according to a just-released Oracle Hospitality Sports and Entertainment research report The Fan Experience: Changing the Game with Food and Beverage, published in partnership with Turnkey Intelligence, an industry-leading market research provider.
Visitors to MGM Park, home of the Milwaukee Brewers’ Double-A Minor League Baseball affiliate Biloxi Shuckers, will experience Ovations Food Services’ Everything’s Fresh™ approach when the ballpark opens to Southern League action this summer.
The team selected nationally-recognised Ovations Food Services, a subsidiary of the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor, to oversee the day-to-day food and beverage operations at their new ballpark, due to open in August.
Ovations’ Everything’s Fresh™ approach means dynamic, seasonal menus that keep fans engaged. Food is prepared and assembled right in front of guests with ingredients that are locally sourced whenever possible. This also means guests will never find pre-wrapped anything, everything is prepared and served fresh!

Ovations will partner with many local companies to infuse regional flavours into menus – these include M&M Shrimp, Barq’s Root Beer and Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company just to name a few.
The Atlanta Falcons Stadium Company (StadCo) have announced a long-term agreement with dining and hospitality innovator, Levy Restaurants.
Levy will partner with StadCo to set the new standard for the game and event experience for NFL and MLS fans, and all other guests at the new Atlanta stadium set to open in 2017. The agreement was reached following an extensive selection process involving top-tier hospitality providers.
The new stadium – designed by 360 Architecture – will serve as home for the Falcons and other marquee sports, convention and entertainment events, as well as Atlanta’s newly-awarded Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise, which will begin play in 2017.
Levy will create intuitive dining and hospitality spaces and experiences to bring the ultimate event day to life for each guest at the stadium.

The Falcons recently announced a season ticket wait-list program allowing fans who are not currently season ticket holders to reserve seating priority in the new stadium.
