Ticketing puzzle tackled by Worcester Warriors

Sixway Stadium

Sixways Stadium will welcome the right fans to the LV= Cup Final thanks to a preregistration ticketing system.

Worcester Warriors Rugby Club has tackled a sticky ticketing problem to help fans attending the LV= Cup Final at Sixways Stadium. It has worked with IRIS Ticketing to introduce a pre-registration process for tickets to all supporters of the final four semi-finalist rugby clubs; Bath, Harlequins, Sale Sharks and Saracens.

We’re excited to be able to guarantee tickets to the LV= Cup Final to semi-finalist supporters who pre-register whilst ensuring that the the ticketing process for this final match is fair, convenient for all and expedient,

said Beth Reader, Retail & Ticketing Manager at Worcester Warriors.

The integrated TALENT Sport system will incorporate a new pre-registration process to guarantee tickets for any supporters should their team get through to the final, providing they have already registered interest on the system. Worcester Warriors has introduced this service having been chosen by the Rugby Football Union (RFU) to host the LV= Cup Final for the second year. This pre-registration process for tickets will ensure collaboration between all four clubs and will address the tight time scales for meeting demand for tickets between the 2013 semi-final matches and the subsequent final at the Sixways Stadium on 17 March, a week later. Supporters can pre-register here.

Any pre-registration fees paid by those fans whose teams do not qualify for the Final will be donated to the LV= SOS Kit Aid appeal. Worcester Warriors has promised that it will not use any of this data following the LV= Cup Final.
